UMURZAKOV SARDOD
Minister of investments and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan
1998 – graduated from Tashkent State economic university, department of economics. 1999 – degree of master of banking in the University of Reading (Great Britain). He has degree of Doctor of economics. Before 2003 he had held various positions in the Department of foreign affairs of the National bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
2003 – 2004 – deputy director of the Department of foreign affairs of the National bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Samarkand.
2004 – 2007 – senior bank officer in the European bank of Reconstruction and Development in London. In 2007 – 2013 held various positions in the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He also worked as councilor for President, vice President, then chairman of the board of directors of Uzcharmsanoat (organization of the tanning industry of Uzbekistan).
Since 2019 – Minister of investments and foregn trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
