Mr Ofer Sachs is general director of Herzog Strategic (HS).
In 2016 – 2019 Ofer Sachs served as ambassador of Israel in Italy, San Marino, and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), he took part in the World Food Program
(WFP) and the International Foundation for Agricultural Development (IFAD). In 2012 – 2016 he held the position of general director of Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute (IEICI).
Before that he headed the Center for International Agricultural Development Cooperation (CINADCO), a unit in the Ministry of Agriculture.
In 2006 – 2011 he headed the Department of agriculture of the Israel Mission in the EU, led negotiations on free trade between the EU and Israel, on WTO, and Israel’s joining the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
He has degree of PhD in economics of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
