ANDREY SLEPNEV

Member of the Board (Minister) of Trade, Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC)

He was born in Bor, the Nizhny Novgorod Region on September 13, 1969.

Andrey Slepnev graduated from the Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod University with a degree in applied mathematics and the Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in law.

He embarked upon his career in insurance and made it on from the project manager to the Director General of the Russian Association of Motor Insurers.

From 2003 until 2005, Andrey worked as the Deputy Director General of the Union “Coordination Council of the Association of Employers in Russia.”

From 2005 until 2007, Andrey held the position of the head of the Department for Support of National Priority Projects at the Executive Office of the President of the Russian Federation.

In 2007, Andrey took up the position of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, and in 2009, he entered the office of the Deputy Minister of the Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

From February 2012 until January 2016, Andrey was a member of the Board (Minister) of Trade, Eurasian Economic Commission.

From February 2016 until April 2018, he worked as the assistant to D.A. Medvedev, the Chairperson of the Government of the Russian Federation, and the Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the Government of the Russian Federation — Director of the Department of Project Activities of the Government of the Russian Federation.

From May 2018 until February 2020, Andrey held the position of the Director General of Russian Export Center JSC.
