President of the ICCBE (International Conference of Commercial Bank Economists) since 2015.
From 2007 until 2010 he was president of AIAF (Italian Association of Financial Analytics). Graduated from the Bocconi School of Management.
He is a member of Chief Economists of the European Banking Federation group. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of various associations and foundations (Prometeia, ASSBB, Assonebb, ISPI, SRM, AIP, GEI, Fondazione Bruno Visentini, Fondazione Manlio Masi) and several pension funds of Intesa Sanpaolo.
He is also an author of numerous publications on financial markets and the development of Italian and European banking systems, monetary policy and public debt management.
